Cd Project. We’ve been involved in “worship music” together for years now… we were on a worship team together even before we were married. Becky Jo grew up singing and writing songs, and in the past, the Lord has even spoke into this area of her life, and revealed His heart to use it. But our attempts to pursue the Lord in this area have usually ended with us wondering, “Lord, I thought you were going to use this.”
Although we’ve always enjoyed leading worship, but over the last few years, there has been this sense that “there is more to ‘worship’ than we thought there was”. This is one of the many things the Lord has been reshaping and retooling in us. It’s like the Lord has us in school. We are coming to understand more and more about the Lord’s heart for our worship. Along with it has come new music, new songs, and new heart; and now, new opportunity. We’ve wanted to record in the past, but it has always been the wrong timing, and the wrong heart. But the Lord has made it clear to us that this is the time, and has proved it time after time. By providing the funds to record, the keyboard to play, and even by showing up numerous times during the recording process, He has made it clear that He wants to use this project somehow! And we are excited to be a part of it.
